Diagnosis and treatment
Patients will be referred to the unit:

via their General Practitioner to an outpatient clinic

via the Emergency Department
-
via another hospital or secondary referrer such as MPTT service (Multi Professional Triage) or Orthopaedic Choice at Moorgreen Hospitals or Hythe Hospital.
Diagnosis will take the form of consultation and a variety of tests to confirm initial diagnosis and help clinical staff to identify the best course of treatment or intervention for you.
All tests will be undertaken by fully trained professional staff such as radiographers.
