Southampton Children's Hospital School
Our school provides education for children while they are in hospital, and a home tuition service for pupils who can't go to school for medical reasons. Our entrance and offices are in Bursledon House, and we have classrooms around the hospital. Our teachers can work 1:1 at your bedside if you can't leave your bay or bed.
We stay in close contact with your home school to make sure your time away doesn't affect your progress, and to make your return to school as easy as possible. Some children find that our small classes and personalised approach means they make progress in areas they have found difficult before.
You can find out more about going to school while you are in hospital on the Southampton Children's Hospital School website.
Our spring newsletter is available here, and you can read our annual staffing update too.
You can speak to the head of school, Nell Giles, on 023 8120 6667 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
