Safeguarding awareness week

University Hospital Southampton will be taking part in the safeguarding awareness week, 13 to 17 November.

Safeguarding is an initiative that protects people who may be in more vulnerable circumstances. It is a key responsibility of all local authorities and public services.

As a hospital, we have a duty to protect all who enter our grounds as a patient, visitor or as a member of staff.

All activities are open to patients, visitors and staff.

Monday, 13 and Tuesday, 14 November

10am to 2pm, safeguarding hub
Southampton General, main entrance (Monday, 13)

This is an exclusive event in partnership with the Southampton Safeguarding Adults Board.
