Implementing guidelines and reducing VT risk
Implementing thromboprophylaxis guidelines in a large teaching hospital such as SUHT is very complex. There has been improvement in the use of LMWT heparin, but there is still more to do to ensure that all adult patients admitted to the Trust are correctly risk assessed.
