As a publicly funded body we have a duty to be transparent about how we operate, including sharing information about how we manage University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
As part of the NHS, we also have a duty to properly keep medical information about our patients and share it with them upon request.
This section tells you how you access both information we hold about you as a patient, and also how you can request information about us as an organisation.
As part of our obligations under data protection law, we carry out data protection impact assessments (DPIA) on high risk or innovative processing. All new projects and processes that use or share personal information will require one of these assessments. Where appropriate we will publish these on our information rights pages.
