Annual Members Meeting and AGM 2020

This year’s combined AGM and annual members' meeting is taking place on Wednesday, 23 September from 4.45 to 6pm. We’re doing things a little differently this year as we’ll be hosting the meeting online and would love you to join us.

The first part of this year’s event is an opportunity to hear from chief financial officer and deputy CEO David French, who will be talking through some of the key highlights of our 2019/2020 annual report, followed by a live Q&A session.

In part two we’ll be presenting a series of COVID-19 talks including:

  • Professor Saul Faust, director of the NIHR Southampton Clinical Research Facility at UHS and consultant in immunology and infectious diseases who is involved in trials for a vaccine
  • Chief operating officer, Joe Teape, will be talking about the operational running of the hospital during the last six months and what our new post-COVID world will look like, what this new world means for the organisation of our hospital and, crucially, what it means for our patients and community

  • We will also hear from Laszlo Penzes, a nurse in our emergency department, about his own miracle COVID recovery story

If you would like to attend our virtual event, email and we will send you an invite with the joining instructions.

We look forward to seeing you there.
