Dr Koh joined the Trust in April 2013 as a consultant in paediatric palliative medicine and leads 
the development of a joint paediatric palliative care service at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and Naomi House Children’s Hospice and sees 
patients with life-limiting or life-threatening llnesses who require specialist palliative care input.
The main aspects of Dr Koh's clinical role include supporting patients, families and professionals in decision making and care planning, complex symptom management, supporting patients and families in their end of life care choices; including home visits at the end of life, liaison with Naomi House Children’s Hospice.and identifying support for families through bereavement.
Dr Koh is also the lead consultant at Naomi House Children’s Hospice and sees patients referred to the hospice services.
