Mr Aiman Alzetani
Mr Alzetani joined the team in 2012. Since then, he has been developing a special clinical interest in minimally invasive video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), and lung volume reduction surgery.

Mr Khalid Amer
Mr Amer is a cardiac surgeon, who moved to thoracic surgery in 2003. His achievements include starting the VATS lobectomy programme in Southampton in 2005, and introducing the Southampton technique of video assisted mediastinal nodal dissection.

Mr Martin Chamberlain
Mr Chamberlain performs all aspects of adult thoracic surgery, excluding oesophageal surgery, and undertakes close to 300 operations a year. The majority of procedures he performs are by video assisted thoracic surgery (keyhole surgery) but he also performs open surgery.

Mr Lukacs Veres
Mr Veres returned to the Trust in January 2018, having previously worked in Southampton as well as in Debrecen (Hungary), Exeter and London. He is experienced in all aspects of adult thoracic surgery excluding lung transplantation.
