As part of the consultation process we would like to invite you, as a members of a Healthcare Chaplaincy, to comment on the proposal and therefore help to shape the emerging agenda. At present we are looking at the training and education, following the Introductory Programme for newly appointed Chaplains.  This is commissioned by the JTO and delivered by Cardiff University, who award academic points.   This proposal is aimed at Agenda for Change (AfC) Band 6 and above Chaplains or those wishing to enter those bands (course contents are mapped against the Knowledge and Skills Framework and NHS Leadership Qualities Framework as well as NICE and some specific Chaplaincy competency Frameworks). The JTO consists of the Roman Catholic Church, Free Churches and Anglican Church who contribute towards the work of the JTO.
