Reminder about infection prevention measures in place at UHS

With more illness and sickness circulating during the winter months, we would like to remind our community of the infection prevention measures in place in our hospitals.

We need your support to ensure we can best protect our staff and the patients in our care.

If you need to come to our hospitals please follow the guidance which is in place:

Please do not visit our hospitals if you have symptoms of showing symptoms of sickness, coronavirus or other respiratory viruses. We are particularly seeing an increase in cases of flu so please do not come to the hospital if you have had any symptoms.

• Wash your hands and use the sanitiser stations regularly
• Walk apart, where possible
• Wear a mask, unless medically exempt
