COVID ZERO

We’re delighted to launch COVID ZERO - a campaign designed to help us wipe out the transmission of COVID-19 in our hospitals.

Support from our staff, patients and local community is absolutely vital in helping us achieve this mission and with the backing of our local media we’re asking the city’s residents to mirror the protective measures in place across all of our sites, in their own communities.

Wash.Walk.Wear

WALK – follow guidance by walking apart and social distancing

WEAR – wear a mask or face covering when you’re not able to safely socially distance

WASH – wash your hands as often as possible

Our staff and community are also being encouraged to become ambassadors for our campaign and publically demonstrate their support by making use of some new resources.

How you can support COVID ZERO

Show your support on social media by updating your profile picture with one of our specially designed COVID ZERO frames.

We have lots of activity planned to help us promote our key messages including really powerful stories from our staff and patients about their own personal experiences of the pandemic. The first of which features Laszlo Penzes, a staff nurse from the emergency department who is recovering after contracting COVID-19 and who needed specialist care.
