Governor elections for three of our public constituencies are now open:
- Southampton City – two vacancies
- New Forest, Eastleigh and Test Valley – one vacancy
- Rest of England and Wales – one vacancy
This is a great opportunity for members to put their names forward to become a governor and represent the views and opinions of the local community and help shape the future of our Trust.

You are also welcome to attend the next members’ evening on Tuesday, 17 July from 6 to 8pm in the Heartbeat Education Centre (north wing, F level) at Southampton General Hospital. During the break, there will be the chance to speak to current governors.
If you'd like to stand as a governor, you can check that you're eligible and download a nomination form by clicking here.
You have until 5pm on Wednesday, 15 August to submit a nomination. Once the candidates have been finalised, voting will open on Friday, 31 August and run until Tuesday, 25 September when it will close at 5pm.
The names of the elected governors will be declared on Wednesday, 26 September.
