SoAR Annual Induction Day
SoAR, in collaboration with the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), runs an annual Welcome and Induction Event for all recently appointed NIHR Academy Members, Trust Research Fellows (CARP/PCAF/Internships), and SoCATs trainees.
This event will be a great opportunity to network, meet others in exactly the same position as you, learn about opportunities and support available and a whole lot more. You will meet individuals in the Trust with responsibility for supporting people like you. It is highly recommended you attend the induction, and for BRC trainees it is a requirement of your training programme. A free lunch and refreshments will be provided.
We will inform you directly when registration opens. Please don’t hesitate to contact SoAR@uhs.nhs.uk if you have any queries.
Training for clinical trials
The research team of a clinical trial must have attended Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training, according to Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) regulations, the UK's Research Governance Framework and ICH-GCP guidance.
