Neonatal surgery

The neonatal surgical service operates from the Neonatal Unit at the Princess Anne Hospital. Some babies are treated in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Southampton General Hospital for part of, or all of, their stay. We serve central southern England and are the surgical centre for the Central South Coast (South) Neonatal Network. We undertake mostly intestinal, thoracic and genito-urinary surgery. There is also specialist cardiac and neurosurgery on-site.
