Getting ready for a hospital visit can sometimes be an anxious time for children and their families. Knowing how to get here and what to bring can help you feel better prepared.
Our hospital car parks get very busy so we recommend you allow plenty of time for your journey and consider coming by public transport or taxi if possible. You may have to queue for parking at peak times. You can see a map of our patient and visitor parking here.
Specific directions around the hospital are usually supplied with your admission letter or you can enquire at the main entrance reception on your arrival.
Parking for blue badge holders
Blue badge holders are exempt from parking charges at pay and display locations and pay on exit visitor car parks at Southampton General Hospital and Princess Anne Hospital.
To assist in exiting the car park for these site users, please contact the operators via any of the help buttons on the pay or exit machines giving the reference number of the permit or visit/contact the Travelwise office prior to exiting.
Blue badges must be displayed when parking on site.
