The pre-assessment team sees all elective surgical patients before your surgery, to make sure you are fit to have surgery on the day that you come in. You will be seen by one of our nurses, and if necessary by a doctor and anaesthetist. This is also where we will carry out any investigations that are needed, such as x-rays and blood tests.

We are based on E level in the Princess Anne Hospital.

Come into the hospital through the main entrance on E level, and go through the double doors in front of you. This brings you to the outpatients and pre-assessment department.
