  Claire Oliver

  Claire joined the team in 2013 and brings over 35 years of experience in health and social care. Her extensive social work background includes working with older adults and people with learning disabilities across residential and day care settings.

  Claire qualified as a social worker and began her career with Hampshire County Council as a learning disability social worker. Since joining the adult cystic fibrosis team, she has been a passionate advocate for the role of social workers within the cystic fibrosis community. She is the social work lead for the UK Psychosocial Professionals in Cystic Fibrosis Group (UKPPCF).

  In recognition of her expertise and leadership, Claire has recently been invited to take on the role of social work lead for the European Cystic Fibrosis Psychosocial Specialist Interest Group.

  Hayley Layden

  Hayley joined the adult cystic fibrosis team in 2025, having previously worked within the service from 2015 to 2017. With over ten years of social work experience across learning disabilities, older adults, and hospital discharge services, she is passionate about empowering individuals, promoting independence, and improving quality of life. Hayley also supports with transitions from paediatrics to the adult service and oversees the team's social media. She is also on the UK Psychosocial Professionals in Cystic Fibrosis Group (UKPPCF) committee.
