Parking at Princess Anne Hospital
Princess Anne Hospital has its own car park (yellow car park) with disabled and parent-and-toddler bays. There is additional parking at Southampton General Hospital.
You can see a map of our car parks here.
Car parking charges apply but we do offer discounts for patients and visitors. There are drop-off and collection points and free facilities for motorbikes and cycles.
At peak times parking can be limited, so please allow enough time to park and also ensure that you only park within the designated areas.
Princess Anne car park (yellow)
Entrance to the car park is off Coxford Road. Five disabled bays and parent-and-toddler bays are available on C level and parking is charged at the standard public rates. There are pay on foot machines located on level B and D within the hospital where you need to pay for your parking before returning to your vehicle.
Parking enforcement for inappropriate parking
Please be aware that enforcement notices are issued to vehicles not parked in appropriate spaces at the Southampton General and Princess Anne hospitals.
The enforcement charge is £70 however this is reduced to £35 if paid within 14 days.
The enforcement is part of our ongoing strategy to improve parking and traffic flow - disruptions to this can compromise the experience of our patients as well as important access for emergency vehicles.
All surplus income generated from the enforcement is used to develop parking facilities and sustainable travel services.
For your convenience there are clearly signposted short stay drop-off and collection zones.
Motorbikes can park free of charge on all of our sites within dedicated parking bays. These are located on C level of the Princess Anne car park.
If you need help in one of our car parks, each of the entry and exit barriers and pay on foot machines have an information button that will give you 24 hour access to either a traffic or security officer who will be pleased to help.
