Genomes team
The genomes team is a small group made up of genomic associates/practitioners, led by a specialist nurse, and supported by patient pathway co-ordinator, who organise whole genome sequencing testing for a wide-range of conditions in patients across the Wessex region. Whole genome sequencing is a large and complex test, and the main role of the genomes team is to discuss this testing with patients to help them make informed decisions about their care.Michael Carter
