Experience
Dr George Coltart has been a consultant at UHS since 2021. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer and adult medical dermatology, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, urticaria, autoimmune and autoinflammatory skin disorders. He is a member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team and is involved in both the diagnosis and surgical management of skin cancers.

Research
Dr Coltart is completing a PhD, funded through a Medical Research Council Clinical Research Training Fellowship, investigating the development of skin cancer and the immune responses found within the tumours.
Dr Coltart’s other research interests have included investigation of techniques for reducing anxiety during skin surgery, cancer risks associated with narrow-band UVB phototherapy, treatment of pre-cancerous lesions, and AI modelling of inflammatory skin conditions.
