Training and education

• BSc Hons biomedical sciences (anatomy) from Cardiff University, 2009
• MBBS Medicine (4 years) from Imperial College London, 2013
• MRCP, 2017
• PG Diploma in oncology, ICR 2022
• FRCR clinical oncology, 2023

Experience

Dr Beckett joined the Trust as a consultant clinical oncologist in 2024, working in gynaecological, oesophago-gastric and hepato-biliary malignancies including SABR and cervical brachytherapy.

She trained in Wessex from 2018 to 2014. Prior to this, Dr Beckett spent a year gaining experience in HIV-associated medicine and malignancies at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She plays an active role in education within the Trust and is currently senior house officer co-lead for the department

Research

Dr Beckett is actively involved in research as a principal investigator and is on the delegation log in clinical trials at UHS.
