Mr Aiman Alzetani
Mr Alzetani is a cardiothoracic surgeon with a sub-specialty interest in thoracic surgery.

Experience
Mr Alzetani joined UHS in September 2012 as a consultant thoracic surgeon.
Since joining the Trust, he has been developing a special clinical interest in minimally invasive video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), and lung volume reduction surgery.
Mr Alzetani has been the lead consultant for the thoracic surgery ward (D2), and for implementing the enhanced recovery program in the specialty.
Research
Mr Alzetani has research interests in lung cancer biomarkers, lung failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and interstitial lung disease (ILD).
