Fertility preservation

The ovarian tissue storage service is a partnership between the Complete Fertility Centre and NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT).

The aim is to meet the needs of patients who are shortly to undergo treatment for certain types of malignancy or congenital disorders. The service will process and store ovarian tissue for later return to the recipient once their treatment has ended with the aim of restoring ovarian function.
