Resources and facilities

Working with the BRC makes a real difference to grant application success, project quality and study delivery. We bring world-leading expertise, quality assured clinical and analytical resources, plus research nursing and study delivery teams.

We want to hear from anyone tackling, or incorporating, research into nutrition, respiratory disease, microbial science, clinical data science or behavioural science.

We provide specialist clinical and laboratory facilities through integration with the NIHR Southampton Clinical Research Facility and Wessex Investigational Sciences Hub.

Training and professional development

Through the Southampton Academy of Research (SoAR), we sponsor and supervise a wide range of trainees. We've supported over 150 masters, doctoral, MD and other students since 2012. Please visit the SoAR website for more information.
