Mr Monga has worked for University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust since 1997.
He has been a council member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists since 2006. Mr Monga was also chair of the Meetings Committee of the British Society of Urogynaecology, and then secretary of the British Society of Urogynaecology. He is a member of the Standardisation Committee of the International Incontinence Society and has served a term as chair of the Publications Committee of the International Urogynaecology Association.
Mr Monga has patients referred from many parts of the south of England by other gynaecologists, as Southampton is now recognised nationally and internationally for urogynaecology. His research is regularly presented at national and international meeting, and he has a keen interest in education and training, having published a number of medical textbooks, including postgraduate textbooks in urogynaecology.
