Driving can often be affected by dementia and degenerative diseases. It is a legal requirement that you notify the DVLA after receiving a diagnosis of dementia.
Hampshire County Council run an older driver skills scheme. If driving becomes a concern it is possible to have your driving assessed locally for a small fee. The assessment is a confidential appraisal of driving skills and has no impact on your licence.
