Children's neurology registrars and senior house officers (SHO)
Paediatric neurology registrars and SHO spend an average time of six months to two years with the multidisciplinary team. They may have already chosen a career in paediatric neurology, or may be general paediatric trainees with a specialist interest in neurology.
These are the people that a child may see daily on the wards whilst they are an inpatient, or when they come to the ward for investigations or a review as an outpatient.
After the ward round, the registrars and SHO will arrange investigations for inpatients, chase up results and make arrangements for outpatients to have investigations.
