Fetal medicine consultants
These are the doctors who will perform most scans or procedures. They will answer any questions you have about your baby, the diagnosis and the options for treatment.
Dr Karen Brackley
Dr Brackley has worked for the Trust since August 2000. She provides anomaly scans and invasive procedures during pregnancy, as well as running a high risk antenatal clinic.

Mr Matthew Coleman
Mr Coleman has worked as a consultant for the Trust since June 2001. Alongside his role as a consultant in fetal and maternal medicine, Mr Coleman is the current lead for maternal medicine.

Mr David Howe
Mr Howe has worked for the Trust since February 1996. He is responsible for complex fetal problems and prenatal diagnosis, and runs a clinic for mothers carrying monochorionic twins.

Dr Raji Parasuraman
Dr Parasuraman became a substantive consultant at the Trust in July 2012. She specialises in high risk obstetrics, and undertakes fetal medicine scans and invasive procedures during pregnancy.

Special interest consultant obstetricians
These consultants, who have a special interest in fetal medicine, will also perform scans or carry out some procedures.
Consultant nurse and specialist midwives
These are the people you'll probably have most contact with. They are there to support parents and liaise with other medical professionals. They will help you understand the implications of any diagnosis or treatment options. They will talk to you about the results of any test or procedures.
