Food and drink options 

Visitors, patients and staff at the Princess Anne Hospital will now be able to enjoy great food and drink at the new AMT Coffee house located within the main entrance.

The outlet is open seven days a week and has a fresh, bright and comfortable seating area where you can stop and relax a while.

About AMT Coffee

Founded by the three McCallum-Toppin brothers in 1992, AMT Coffee now has 55 coffee bars across the UK and Ireland. The company has strong ethical credentials, being the first national coffee chain to switch to using Fairtrade coffee, and prides itself on its health-focused, high quality menu. The new outlet on E level of the Princess Anne Hospital will serve a range of hot and cold food and drinks which can soon be enjoyed in a comfortable new seating area or taken away. AMT tells us it has one mission: 'to make the best cup of coffee in the UK and Ireland, quickly and with a smile!

We’re proud to say that all the new retailers at UHS provide a range of foods offering both choice and value, as well as mirroring our commitment to the Public Health Responsibility Deal through the promotion of healthy eating.

There are also vending machines at the Princess Anne. You can also use the shops and facilities at Southampton General Hospital just across the road.

Taxi service

You can find a free phone for calling taxis in the main entrance on E level.

Free wifi for patients and visitors

Funded by Southampton Hospitals Charity, we are now able to offer free to use wifi for our patients and visitors to do the normal things online as they would at home. This includes the ability to stream audio and video, access online banking and keep in touch with loved ones via social media and messaging apps.
