Sample360 is an electronic blood sample tracking system in which sample requests can be actioned at the patient’s bedside using Bluetooth scanning technology rather than using a paper card system. Sample 360 prints sample labels individually, at the patient bedside using a handheld printer, once the requests have been verified using an app on an iPod.

The system helps to eradicate a number of costly errors in the sample taking process which increases patient safety and improves efficiencies in the hospital.
