From 25 May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force in the UK. This will introduce new rights to data subjects and new responsibilities on those who process your information.

UHS is the processor of your information and is processing this information under Article 6(1)e (public interest) and article 9(2)h (medical treatment) of the GDPR. To enable us to process your information, confirm your identity and ensure payment we may share your information with third parties, including, but not limited to, other hospitals, government agencies and insurance companies.

We will keep your information for as long as necessary, in accordance with the NHS code on records management.
