  Professor Arshad is head of the asthma, allergy and clinical immunology service at University Hospital of Southampton.

Allergy consultants

• Griffiths, Dr Elizabeth

  Dr Griffiths is a consultant allergist and clinical lead for the allergy department.

• Chin, Dr Tak

  Dr Chin is a consultant allergist.

• Chandel, Dr Shalini

  Dr Chandel is a consultant allergist with a sub-specialty interest in drug allergy.

  Nel, Dr Linda

  Dr Nel has worked for the Trust since May 2002. She is the department lead for anaesthesia-related allergy.

Asthma consultants

  Dennison, Dr Paddy

  Dr Dennison is a respiratory consultant with a sub-specialty in severe asthma. He is the lead for adult sleep disordered breathing at the Trust.

  Kurukulaaratchy, Dr Ramesh

  Dr Ramesh Kurukulaaratchy (more commonly known as "Dr Ramesh") is a respiratory consultant at UHS, specialising in severe asthma and allergy.

Clinical immunology consultants

  Dr Eren is a clinical immunology consultant with a specialty interest in hormones and the immune system. Dr Eren is lead for the clinical immunology department.

  Dr Williams is a consultant in allergy and clinical immunology with a sub-specialty interest in laboratory medicine.
