Outpatients

If you have an outpatient appointment booked at one of our hospitals, we will write to you to confirm its date, time and location. Please check the details on your appointment letter carefully and contact us if you are unable to attend.

My Medical Record

My medical record can help you to work with the team looking after you to manage your care together, provide you with information, and reduce your need to come into hospital. Find out more on our My medical record page.

Who can I bring with me?

Shared decision making

Shared decision making (SDM) assures an involved conversation from both yourself and your healthcare professional to discuss the pros and cons of each option, emphasising what matters to you based on your beliefs, concerns and expectations. Read more.

Translation and interpretation services

If your first language is not English, interpreters are available.

What to expect from your appointment

Whether you have a virtual appointment via telephone or video, or if you are coming to the hospital for a face to face appointment, you will be sent a letter letting you know what the date and time of the appointment is. You will also be sent a text message reminder about your appointment if we have your correct mobile phone number on file.

If you are coming to the hospital for your face to face appointment please take note of the date and time of your appointment and which hospital site you are due to attend.
