Dr Millar has worked for the Trust since July 1994.
Key achievements
Dr Millar introduced endovascular coil treatment of cerebral aneurysms to Wessex Neurological Centre in June 1995. He led the interventional neuroradiology service which, in addition to aneurysm treatment, includes endovascular therapy of vascular malformations and tumours of the brain and spine.
Through hia involvement with the UK Neurointerventional Group, Dr Millar has advanced the clinical audit of neurointerventional procedures in the UK by developing a nationwide clinical database.
